this week in literacy we had to read the taylor swift lyrics of mean and we had to make comments about each sentence it was hard because there was a lot of sentences. i rate this 10.10 hoppe you like this it took ages for me it was really fun.

this week for homeroom time we have been learning to calm ourselves down when were inn the red zone i found it fun heres a picture i rate it 10.10 here it is hope you like it.

for cybersmart this week we did a collage we had to make a kiwi that looked like the kiwi that we had to copy i think we did very good because we had to learn new things it was really fun because when we did it we don't know how to it so we had t work it out i rate this activity ten out of ten because it was really fun we had to work out how to make images different shapes and we didn't know how to do that so that's how i found it fun. here's a picture.             

morning at the marae

Hey readers,
On friday we went for a speacial trip we went to the marae. When we first got there we saw these people on this wood hut and they were saying moari words i could'nt under stand what they were saying. We walk in there were moari people walking forwords to us then reece got picked to get this leafe it was a special then the moari people went back and talked moari and then we got to go in this big moari house and they showed us a show about muwei finding his mama and papa and he found his parents and he was so happy and his brothers. So then we played a game and we had to put our finger on our left partners palm. Then we went outside and had some lunch and well we were having lunch we got to have a show. Then after that we got a Photo and then we went in our homeroom lines and then we went in the bus.

My favourite parts was playing Moari games and doing the haka and a photo.

hi guys today inn math strand we had to do a tally mark sheet it was really hard because there was lots of activities on the one sheet i would rate it 3/10 because it wasn't the funnest work we've done. there's a little bit of me in it hope you like it and you don't mined the bit with me in it.

this week in phonics we have been learning about different word so we had to right about different words such as noun, verb and all that good stuff it as really fun because we had to work out what the words meant it was really  fun because we had to be creative. it was really hard though i rate it 9 out of ten hardness because i didn't know much of the words. i he you like it.

the moon landing

this week in literacy we have been learning about the moon landing it was really cool because i got to research about the moon and we got to research about neil armstrong i hope you like it.

day in 1969 little Jimmy and his friend Jerry were watching tv live but they just wished that it wasn't as grey beause grey is just boring and it was there least favourite colour. 

Because it is just boring they want some cool colours. But back to the moon landing event. So little jimmy and homie jerry is what they called each other on the daily. And they 

were watching the moon landing in so much excitement and they were at the movies live event with chips 200 bags of lollies and they have already been threw 40 bags and is only 2 

minutes in. they were like whats that sound because the 

yived 

right next to the nasa station and they though is was the rocket lifting up so little jimmy said OMG do you see that ! ! ! ! of course i do it is the rocket lets go watch it inside now ok homie jerry. So we had to wait 102 hours and 45 minutes   

(4.25 days) because that is how long it took. And on the way they had butterflies in there tummies because he was scared for them and w and a half days later he landed little jimmy and jerry were so exited the people that landed on the moon were called neil armstrong and edwin buzz. Oh my god i'm so exited that they landed i am so hyped lets goo!!!!!!! Now its time for them to come back. Three days later. They landed i am so happy for them. Five years later they invented the colour tv.

this week in maths we have been learning about fractions i have put an image of fractions for you to solve by yourself you can learn fractions just like i did. trust me it is really fun i rate this activity 8.10 it was really fun i like it alot because i sometime like learning new things with my friends because

this week we have been learning about screencastify because for when we are older we mite need it. my shut out is to Dylan HB because he is my buddy, and i have looked at is blog and it is very unique i like it very much.  most of my personal information is on there but not all of it because i didn't have time.

diffrent ways to say said

In phonics this week we have been learning different ways to say said but we were  supposed to do something different like not in a  google slide. we were aloud to do it in something different that we don't usually do i will show you mine. this is mine i hope you like it but i think it is 5.10.  This was really fun because we had to be creative this was one of the funnest things this year. we id this because we thought said was boring so we had to help the community for different ways to say said. i hope you like it because this took me a lot of time. if you want to do this the app is word art. hope you like it.

in maths today we have been learning about matariki we ha to make shapes out of the stars it was really hard. some people believe that there are seven stars and some people believe there are nine stars i believe there are seven stars because that is what most people believe this was really fun. we found it fun and difficult. there is some off me in one of the photos
i hope you don't mind. i think  the simplest shape is the rectangle round the stars and the hardest one was the star because the heart were hard to think of because you only use one star. i wonder if another school have done this.

in literacy this week we had to watch a video and then we had to write  a story based on what we watched. I think it was 6.10 hardness because i found it a little hard because there was so much detail in the story I think I pretty good rate me out of ten in the comment section. this took me two days to make it wa hard to ad all of the detail. i hope you can create a picture in your head. i added more to the end. i hope you like it.

Arrays

in baths we have been learning to solve multiplication problems by using repeated addition or our times tables. Mrs mcguinniety gave us a sheet with smiley faces on it and we had to cut them up into rectangles. we then had to work out how many faces there were in each one using repeated addition or times tables.

Story

Introduction:

once upon a time An old man told these  kids called Oscar and Mitchell that there was a mysterious cabin in the woods old and spooky it was like you were watching a horror movie.
¨psssst Sure there is¨ Mitchell said,  ¨well.. Then you´ll have to find out yourself.¨ the old man said. So they set off.

middle

Over the mountain through the cold icy blizzard and finally at the creepy old woods.
They keeped on moving through the damp woods.
They were scared it was like a billion murderers were chasing them, then Oscar stepped on a twig and mitchell get´s a fright, But there it was the cabin
¨ Gulp¨ Oscar gulped.
Let's go in they were anxious it was like They were going into a basement damp and spooky it was like there were alot of people that they didn't know.
As it got dimmer and dimmer suddenly a light appears

A bright light like you were looking at the sun. as a bunch of rooms appeared and a trap door got set off Mitchell falling down but then oscar grabbing his hand at the last moment he could
¨Thanks Oscar!¨ Mitchell said ¨Let's keep on going. Cause there is no way out…. See!¨ Oscar said they looked back and then set off again jumping over the trap door  then they walked into a room and the doors shut as a figure rising upon the ground,
With one eye the other eye was gone, Blood spread all over him, and all torn up. ¨yeah nah,¨ they both said. As he started rushing towards them with

humans coming out of him they dodged it. Then they ran pressing a button and then fleeing. ¨That was a big oof!¨ oscar and mitchell said. Then a t.v comes out from the roof showing a camera on them. ¨Huh?¨ Oscar said. And then it lost connection.
Then turning back on and a person with small white eyes and instead of white the ball is black and he's looking insane just staring at them. But then to turn back off and the doors opened. Then in the next room a piano playing just one deep key over and over. And they could hear whispers.
But they couldn’t make out what they were saying.
Suddenly they heard someone banging on the door and blood pouring down from the walls then. The door busted down

End

the same guy appeared, but this time looking more crazy and sinister, holding a bloody knife in his hand.
“Well, we need to work harder and faster.” Oscar said “Got it!” mitchell replied. Suddenly the crazy man started running really fast and tried to stab Mitchell but him and Oscar started beating him up started with the face MItchell kicked him in the face sending him flying then oscar jabbing his face on the table.
The grabbing a shard Of glassing and stabbing it through his heart. He started making noises. Andhisfacedissolving then he turned into liquid. Never to be seen before then the piano stopping and the walls turning into logs they found themselves back in the cabin. “W-we did it?”

Oscar said confusingly. “But the door is blocked” Mitchell said. “I guess we’ll have to find a way out” He said again but a T.V turned on showing the dead body of the crazy person. Then turning off. A wall opened up and they walked out.
“We finished yus!” Oscar said and they never came into those woods again. But every day they would see more and more hanged people and someone staring at them and they would always have the same bloody knife, one time they were also looking downn and saw two people lookong like them then they turned around with their faces looking like Oscar And Mitchell with their faces cut from mouth to cheek on both sides wiht one eyeball missing Oscars form the right and Mitchells from the left. And their arms missing oscars from the left and Mitchells from the right. Oscar and Mitchell started running once they started chasing after them with their mouths open and a horrible screech coming out of their mouths until they hit a wall they realized they were in stuck in this world they had to find a way out until a portal opened up and they ran through to find themselves in their normal world they never went near that froest again.

Sea turtles sea turtles endangered species  I am going to tell you the cycle Sea turtles.



 first The eggs.  the eggs is the size of a ping pong balls. a female sea turtle lays eggs in the  ground they take around 6 weeks to hatch only 20% of them hatch



50% make it to the sea because predators kill some of them.

directions

In geometry we have looking at directions on maps. we have learnt what compass looks like and the directions:NE,NW,SE,SW. I remember it by ..... never eat soggy weetbix. in this task we had to search the places the teacher told us to and write the directions to the place from here. it was easy because there wasnt much to it.

in geometry we have been learning about coordinates coordinates are directions. we had to complete the following task. I learnt i learned that their are way more directions than you think. i found it easy because their wasn't much to it. hope you like it

for maths this week we got this activity it was called cluck an oink.  the person could see thirty six legs on the chickens and the pigs. so me and Ruben my buddy had to get three diffrent ways to get 36.
 4 times 9 equals 9 pigs and 2 time 18 equals 36. 4 pigs 7 chickens and thats it hope yu like this blog post.

What is personal and what is private?

Today in cyber smart we were sorting out what was private and what wasn't it was pretty hard out of ten it was probably 7.5.
Private information is things you cant share like your password and your email address. Photos in the bathroom and your bedroom are also private.
How do you guys think I did?

This week we have been doing squares you need to make it so there's none of the same colours next to each other so this is what i did hope you like it. Out of ten of hardness it was 7.8, because i didn't under stand it at the start. 

 in maths this week we have been doing sort the street. first i done height and then i done the colour roof and then coloured doors hope you like it

this week in literacy we have been learning to do steps and i done steps to make a fortune teller so this is what i got.

In Mr Breach's literacy class we are learning to look deeper and find more about the main character. I think Battle of Words is a good book because I like the plot and the story line because of the way they wrote letters to each other. P.S Mcgunnity was the main character in Battle of Words she can get very intrigued and not understand what is going on around her. We had 3 activity sheets one to help is under stand the main character more one to write down our questions and one to find words we don't know the meaning of. My favourite part of the book is when she made the mistakes. I recommend this book to anyone who likes a good page turner. I rate this book 3 out of 5.

kindness

Hey reader, today we have been leaning about kindness. we brain stormed about what kindness is about. so then we wrote  a poem i hope you readers enjoy it so here you go.


Kindness is special to me because i need it if i don't have it i will get to worried and i wont get                                          my work done.

The world needs kindness.

Using your manners every day makes kindness.

Little can be huge.
